About the Program
Advance Your Teaching Expertise

Graduate Endorsements provide teachers with specialized training to expand their expertise, strengthen classroom practices, and better serve diverse student needs. These programs are designed for certified educators who want to add endorsements to their teaching certificate while deepening professional skills in high-demand areas. Endorsements vary in length from 9–15 credit hours and are aligned with state and national standards to support career advancement.

Endorsement Options

Autism (9 Credit Hours | Online)

Develops expertise in teaching students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Coursework emphasizes history, characteristics, assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based behavioral interventions.

Computer Science (12 Credit Hours | Online)

Provides teachers with foundational computer science knowledge and pedagogy, including field experiences across P–12 classrooms. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate.

Dyslexia (12 Credit Hours | Online)

Focuses on assessment, intervention, and instruction for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Courses also address reading psychology and literacy curriculum in P–12 schools.

K-5 Math (12 Credit Hours | Online)

Strengthens content knowledge and pedagogy in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and probability for K–5 teachers. Includes a capstone portfolio.

Enhances skills in literacy instruction, assessment, and curriculum design for P–12 learners. Courses emphasize reading psychology, effective practices, and student-centered instruction.

STEM Teaching P-12 (12 credit hours | Online)

Prepares educators to integrate STEM concepts in the classroom, with coursework in curricular design, equity-focused practices, technology integration, and community-based STEM education.

Builds capacity for educators to serve as leaders in their schools. Coursework covers assessment, supervision, adult learning, and leadership strategies, with an internship capstone.
