The Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at Columbus State University offers you a versatile liberal arts education within the Schwob School of Music. Designed for musically talented students with broad academic interests, this degree combines exceptional training in musicianship with opportunities to explore additional disciplines across campus. You can customize your studies by choosing a track within the School of Music or pursue a minor outside of music, preparing you for flexible career trajectories in performance, research, technology, and beyond.

Audio Technology (Minor)
Gain hands-on experience in recording, mixing, and sound design using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Music Composition (Undergraduate Certificate)
Develop skills in writing and arranging original works across a range of musical styles.
Music (Minor)
Broaden your education with foundational coursework in performance, theory, and music appreciation.
Musical Theatre Performance (Undergraduate Certificate)
Train in acting, singing, and dance to build the skills of a versatile “triple threat” performer.
Jazz Studies (Minor or Certificate)

Optional Minors Outside of Music
