Apply for Candidacy

Columbus State University awards degrees three times a year to students who have applied and who are meeting all graduation requirements at the time final grades are posted.

Commencement is held twice each year, in May (spring) and December (fall). Students who graduate in the summer walk in the December ceremony.

To be eligible to graduate, you must apply in MyCSU and pay a non-refundable fee of $60 as you approach completion of degree requirements.
